Topographic survey
Topographic surveying" encompasses a broad range of surveying and mapping products, ranging from aerial mapping to ground and underground surveys. “Control surveying” likewise can cover wide area geodetic surveys to construction stakeout. Topographic Surveying is the measuring of land elevation, using GPS satellites to calculate the exact position of each point taken by providing an xyz file; the easting, northing and elevation of a point. ATCC BASED TRAFFIC VOLUME COUNT SURVEY
Traffic volume count surveys will be conducted at mid-block survey locations for 24 hours. The data has to be analysed to estimate intensity of traffic, hourly variation, composition, and peak hour characteristics. The survey locations will be finalised with clients

Classified Traffic Volume Count At Mid-Block/ Screen line Location
It is important to know the traffic volume and different vehicle classes, composition in any roadway for strategic planning, improvements and maintenance. It also identifies the Average Daily Traffic, Peak Hour Traffic and its composition.
Traffic volume count surveys will be conducted at mid-block / screen line survey locations for 16/24 hours. The survey locations and formats will be finalised with clients. We use manual, Video and ATCCs (pneumatic Tubes, Redars)

Classified Turning Movement Count Survey
Turning movement will be conducted at Junctions / roundabout continuously for 16/24 hrs. The data has to be analysed to estimate intensity of traffic, hourly variation, composition, Turning moment and peak hour characteristics. The survey locations and formats will be finalised with clients.

Pedestrian count survey will be carried out at locations for a period of 12 hrs. to estimate the intensity of pedestrian traffic along and across the corridor

Road Network Inventory Surveys
An inventory of all major roads within the study area will be carried out to obtain the existing road network characteristics. The data collected will include the cross-sectional details, right of way, carriageway widths, length of the sections, predominant land use along the links, type of street lighting, road signs and markings, surface conditions etc.
The information will be used in preparing existing road network in node and link form and the same will be updated to develop future road network with the help of secondary data on plans and proposals of various departments.

Speed & Delay Surveys
Speed and Delay surveys will be carried out on all major roads within the study area. The survey aims to determine the travel time on various selected road network. This survey will be conducted for both directions’ movement of traffic during peak and off-peak periods on a typical fair-weather day. Test car method will be adopted for the survey.

Parking Survey
On-street and Off-street Parking Survey would be carried using registration number method at locations for 12 hrs. including parking areas, work centers, business centers, shopping complexes and tourist places to collect the details about parking accumulation, parking duration and parking index.

Boarding / Alighting Survey
In this survey, the passengers entering and leaving the stations/terminals would be counted at IPT Terminals, major railway stations, major bus terminals, proxy bus terminals and airport terminals
